Rebaca Chang & Miho Nomoto

Report of the National Cancer Institute

The report published today reports on Cancer in France:

320 000 new cases per year (550 per 100 000)
5-year survival: > 50% of
120 000 320 000 will be cured (or 37.5% of cancers)

There are three categories of cancer:

  1. Good prognosis: 42%: Prostate, breast, testis, thyroid, melanoma
  2. Intermediate: 33%: colorectal, mouth, bladder, ovary, uterus, kidney
  3. pronocstic 17% Bad: lung, liver, pancreas, esophagus and SNC
I know it is not 100%.

That's the main thing!

a bonus a little illustration of Wikipedia that I like:
