How To Fix A Plastic Bracelet

radioactive gold nanoparticles against the prostate cancer melanocortin

Study: Dr. Kattesh Katti, Missouri (U.S.)
Journal of Nanomedicine

This study shows the effect of radioactive gold nanoparticles injected IV on human tumors implanted into mice. The nanoparticles were wrapped in glycoproteins of gum arabic, and selectively captured by the tumor cells.
The result is an average reduction in tumor volume by 82% in 2 weeks, and collateral damage on blood cells in particular, zero.

The mechanism of selectivity vis-à-vis the tumor is not detailed in my source, and not having access to the study, I do not understand. All information on this subject interests me.
