Hello everyone! I take this beautiful morning to express the results of the polls I posted on the blog, because it a question which I think is quite important. Of course we have here a sample of 20 people, which also means it may be a gap between reality and the answers (it must be that my statistics course I use some thing, right?), but it already! :)
So 2% of respondents believe trust the animals sold in pet stores, 4% they are "somewhat" confident, some others do not know (4%) while 50% of people say not to trust them.
I wanted you about a new program offered at a pet from Quebec, who said "no" to puppy mills for most of the time the pet (I've heard of this program in an interesting article from the magazine "Animal" of December, p. 28-29). Indeed, the owner of a pet has created a special area in her store where there are animals of the SPA. From March to December 2009, there were over 180 animals from the shelter that have been adopted in this animal. it is something I find very noble, especially when we know that some animals the SPCA must unfortunately be euthanized.
